Ang aking matalik na kaibigan

Imahe

EAST ASIA ARTS AND CRAFTS

You are Gorgeous My calligraphy is based on what I see. When you say gorgeous its not about being perfect, being pretty, its about accepting who you are in your imperfections, and that's what makes you unique I drew a little butterfly because they are pretty but imperfect. They might not have the same shade as the other wing, the size of their wing might be bigger than the others but they still they fly and we always say that " Hey that butterfly is more unique than the other one" I am not saying we should compare but that's how we see things we see the imperfection of each person that we actually start to think that they are unique because I don't have that, It's like 5 % of the people of the entire world have that and I'm part of the 95 % who doesn't have that. The colors represent that even if you think you don't fit(green) like the others, just remember that you just need the right artist to make you stand out. That artist is yourself, you thi

Bawu Instrument

Imahe
Bawu (chinese woodwind instrument) The Bawu is a wind instrument in China. Although it's shaped like a flute, it's really a free reed instrument with a single metal reed. It's played in a transverse way. It has a pure, clarinet-like timbre, and its playing technique incorporates the use of a lot of ornamentation, especially bending tones.  Cover of Bawu  HOW TO PLAY A BAWU The player must cover the reed tightly with the mouth and exert considerable air pressure to sustain the vibration of the reed. Bawu is only capable of a single octave and, unlike free reed mouth organs, only exhalation is done. How to play a Bawu Credits: Words: (Wikapedia, LE  2019 October 12)  What is Bawu? Batik Design

Imahe
BATIK PATTERN by Vanissa Patalinghug                                                  The word batik is thought to be derived from the word ' ambatik'  which translated means 'a cloth with little dots'. The suffix ' tik'  means little dot, drop, point or to make dots. Batik may also originate from the Javanese word ' tritik'  which describes a resist process for dying where the patterns are reserved on the textiles by tying and sewing areas prior to dying, similar to tie dye techniques. Another Javanese phase for the mystical experience of making batik is “ mbatik manah ” which means “drawing a batik design on the heart”.                                     Here I am drawing a batik pattern on a paper.                                  Process                               1 . draw a margin (my margin is 1/2)                              2 .  give a space to the side 1 inch and from the bottom line mark it 2 inches.                                3 . Support LGBTQ by Vanissa Patalinghug                                                                                            Many people criticize others with different gender or sexuality, it has become a habit to society to treat those part of the LBGT community differently. They say there are only 2 genders, and we should love and be thankful for what God gave us. Even though they fight back, there are always too many enemies. They just want to be treated as a normal person not some “out of the world” person just because of their sexuality. They tend to keep their emotions, what they really feel, what they really want to be, because they are scared to go out to the world without being stared at, talked about. They pretend to be someone there not, they get hurt, they have feelings, they are people not aliens and still people don’t understand, they don’t get it, they still make them feel like they don’t belong.                                        They go protest, they fight f

Pagtulong sa kapwa

Imahe

Food Paradise By: Ibn Amjed

Imahe
“FOOD OF PARADISE” by: Ibn Amjed The Food of Paradise is a story about hope and faith towards our God. Mullah is the main character in this story, he is a teacher before he was tired and got a lower salary, he decided to go to the City of Baghdad wherein near the river, even though he was lazy, he always has a trust in Allah his God. This is a story about, a devoted man, Ibrahim that taught Islam to his Moslem students. Ibrahim is the main character of the story, He feels like no one appreciates him . He always asks his God “why do I have to suffer?” Like some of us do. And this is his story.  His work was thankless and ill-paid. Once, while sitting in the meditation, his hands folded in his lap, he thought of his sorry sake.” Why is it,” he asked himself, “that a holy man like me must toil so hard teaching a pack of blockheads, when others who have earned nothing through pious work, eat sumptuous every day? And without having to work?”.  Ibrahim left the seminary and walke

Family day 2020

Imahe
"family forever"           We had family day yesterday January 26 2020, with the theme tribu'. Family are the persons that love, care, and trust you, and same as you. You love, care and trust them, the one who's there even in your darkest times. No family is perfect, even us we have problems, some may or may not understand it that's why we are afraid to tell that we are not a perfect family. We are afraid that someone will judge us, but we are the only one who's judging ourselves.            The program started with a registration to prove that you attended of course. Every level had booths that was created by the student's, teacher's, and parent's that gave their time and effort, ever since the day before. Not all families attended but their children came and enjoyed the show even though they are jealous of the complete families that attended.  The president gave a memorable speech. All year levels prepared a tribu' dance, the smaller lev

SINULOG 2020

Imahe
PIT SENYOR!!                Sinulog is a dance ritual in honor of the miraculous baby Jesus, Senyor Santo Nino. It is celebrated every 3rd Sunday of January. Before the celebration the devotees attend a 9 day novena and a "walk with Jesus". It is about their strong faith in Senyor Santo Nino, that even under the heat of the sun they tend to attend the pass and parade. By the 3rd Sunday of January that's where everything changes, people where t-shirts like white t-shirts. others put paint all over your body, even your shirt without your consent. It is kind of common on many Cebuano even other nationalities come to Cebu to experience Sinulog.                 On the beautiful day, we went to my dad's old home which is in Capitol. We met our cousins, family friends, and other people i honestly don't know. Every year me and my family always go there, even on rainy days. It is just Sinulog when we get together with our friends. Just at the back of the house is Mango
